I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor. I am an accredited BACP member and work within their Professional Code of Ethics, offering both long term and time limited counselling to adults on an individual basis or couples.
I am trained to work in an integrative way, which includes, Person Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural.
I believe that everyone is unique, worthy and fundamentally able to grow and develop so that they can become true to themselves. Together we can work to find an approach that aligns with your needs, wants and goals.
I offer a confidential, empathic and non-judgemental space, where you can be you to safely explore your thoughts and feelings. Our work together will help you to expand your self-awareness, look at unhelpful thinking patterns and find a way forward in whatever way you choose.
I started my counselling journey in 2000 and graduated from Kent at Canterbury University in 2004, with a Diploma in Integrative Counsellor. I subsequently continued my studies at Kent at Canterbury University and graduated in 2006 with an MSc in Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy Studies in 2007. I additionally have a Diploma in Counselling Supervision and a Level 6 in Contemporary Relationship Counselling and a Level 4 in Psychological Therapies.
Since qualifying in 2004 I have been working in Private Practice and was also employed by the Prison Service between 2005 and 2016 as an Addiction Counsellor. I currently teach Counselling on a Level 4 Counselling Course and provide Clinical Supervision to counselling organisations and individual counsellors.

  • SATEDA (Support and Action to End Domestic Abuse) as a Clinical Counselling Supervisor 2015 to present day
  • Men Get Eating Disorders Too; 2016 – 2019 as an Eating Disorder Group Facilitator
