Tracy
Hello,
As an integrative counsellor, I work with a holistic, client led approach, that draws upon various modalities including Person Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, creative therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based practice. I am a member of the BACP and abide by their ethical framework for counselling professions. I have gained extensive clinical experience and knowledge across settings including NHS Mental Health Hospitals, Prisons, Schools, and within the charity sector.
As a counsellor, I am continually exploring current research and professional development. I have a special interest in attachment, neurobiology, and trauma informed approaches, which supports my understanding when working with individuals. I am passionate about supporting adults, children, and young people to improve mental health and wellbeing using creative tools and interventions and through somatic embodied awareness.
I adopt a collaborative approach, which aims to establish a relational therapeutic relationship. Exploring the lived experiences and narratives that you bring to counselling. I offer a facilitative space to develop self-awareness, and self-understanding and support you in creating meaningful changes and supportive outcomes from therapy, that are tailored to your individual needs. I offer a non-judgemental, thoughtful, relatable, and compassionate approach as a counsellor that makes people feel comfortable and at ease. In my spare time, I enjoy being in nature, dancing, and spending time with family.
